    Fishing the deep waters of Bear Lake can be done successfully without a boat. Here are tips for using a kayak, pontoon or float tube instead.   This video was taken January 19 at Big bear lake. We fished for only a few hours but we were able to land decent fish. Breathtaking footage was taken of the lake and surroundings with the drone.

There are four endemic fish species in Bear Lake: the Bonneville Cisco, the Bonneville Whitefish, the Bear Lake Whitefish, and the Bear Lake Sculpin. The January-February spawning run of the Bonneville Cisco draws fishing enthusiast who dip nets to capture the small swift fish.

At Great Bear Lake, you can find some truly wonderful fish. Since the lake covers an area of 12, square miles, you can be sure that you will reel in plenty of good catches.

Great Bear Lake is populated by lake trout, arctic char, arctic grayling, northern pike, walleye, and lake whitefish. Hurry up and seize these awesome fishing opportunities.

Bear Lake is located in Barron County, Wisconsin. This lake is 1, acres in size. It is approximately 87 feet deep at Bear Lake deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye.

The Bear Lake whitefish, Prosopium abyssicola, is found only in Bear Lake on the Utah-Idaho border. The species inhabits the cold areas of Bear Lake, staying in deeper water during the summer months.

Bear Lake whitefish are the focus of limited angling, particularly during their spawning period. Panfish: Panfish provide plenty of action for anglers on Bear Lake. The most common species are bluegill, pumpkinseed, black crappie, yellow perch and brown bullhead.

Panfish are caught year-round and ice fishing is a popular winter activity. Live baits such as minnows or worms usually produce the best catches. The most popular species of fish found in Big Bear Lake is rainbow trout.

Big Bear Lake serves as a first-rate trout fishery habitat because its depths allow the fish. If access to Bear Canyon Lake is possible, trout fishing should be fair. Trout were last stocked in September and some may persist into winter.

Cool water temperatures may decrease trout activity, so fish during the warmest parts of the day. Try nymphs under an indicator, small gold lures, or PowerBait to attract hungry trout. the biggest finfish and shellfish taken in California by sport anglers and divers.

Rainbow trout are the most popular species of fish found in Big Bear Lake. The water's depths allow the trout to thrive, even in the heat of summer.

Summertime also brings other species to the lake like largemouth bass, channel catfish, and a variety of panfish, which make great fishing for younger anglers. Bear Lake offers some of the best fishing in the area.

The lake is smooth as glass most of the time. It invites you to just put-put along with your line dangling as you enjoy the scenery or fish hard for those great Northern game fish. In mid-June to early July, you may be fortunate enough to see the Great Sturgeon spawn.
